At Aspar, our facilities have been designed to ensure safety, efficacy and quality for every batch we manufacture. We also want to be able to act with agility to exceed our customers’ and patients’ needs. Every stage of production happens on site, from raw material receipt to packaging and final dispatch, giving us full oversight and flexibility. We continually invest in advanced technology and modern equipment to uphold the highest standards of care and reliability across every batch.

Manufacturing

Our Manufacturing capabilities include a state-of-the-art Wet Granulation Suite comprising both Dry Mixing and Encapsulation all supported by an In-Process Control Testing Laboratory ensuring every product we produce undergoes robust testing at all stages of manufacture.

Wet Granulation Suite

Our Manufacturing capabilities include a state-of-the-art Wet Granulation Suite comprising a combination of equipment designed to deliver safe, effective and quality medicines. The equipment includes a High Shear Mixer, Fluid Bed Dryer, Wet Mill, Product Sizing Mill, Air Swept Sieve, Blender and an IBC.

Dry Mixing

Aspar’s Dry Mixing areas incorporate a range of highly engineered, large volume Double Cone Blenders and Ultrasonic Sieves which are all expertly fed by a high efficiency vacuum transfer system allow products to be processed quickly and safely.

Tablet Compression and Encapsulation

Aspar has a number of high-speed computer-controlled compression and encapsulation machines. Designed for rapid production, these machines are capable of handling high volume demands effectively and efficiently and without compromising on quality.

Film Coating

Aspar utilises a fully automated, high-capacity, Film Coating Machine.

The In Process Control Testing Lab has a wide range of specialist equipment to perform all of the physical tests required to ensure that all products meet all required specifications during the manufacturing process.

Packaging

Across our suite of dedicated packaging rooms we ensure that all products, whether blister packs, bottles or sachets, are continually checked for quality and packed with precision and care.

Aspar’s high speed Blister Packing facilities are designed to cope with large volumes of throughput producing an array of pack sizes which transform individual batches of tablets to the finished packaged product.

Our fully automated Bottle & Sachet Filling lines are capable of producing a range of pack sizes and formats with both agility and precision.

Quality Control Laboratory

The QC Lab underpins the entire manufacturing process, as all products are robustly tested to ensure the highest levels of safety, efficacy and quality.

The QC Lab acts as a centralised quality hub, testing every raw material coming into the site and each finished product that is sent for distribution. Equipped with several HPLC systems and a state-of-the-art TRS100, we have made investments that focus on increasing speed and reducing waste whilst never compromising on quality.
